Alert Number 147
Date: February 6, 2024
As most of you are aware, the green tea extract (EGCG) clinical trial “Project Alpha” we sponsored at the Mayo clinic (with your hard earned dollar donations!) is up and running. While I cannot disclose results of this clinical trial ahead of their official publication, let us say I am not disappointed. The latest article on our website clltopics.org gives an update, as well as new information regarding the safety of EGCG. I suggest this is must read information for anyone who is taking green tea extracts of any kind. It is very important we recognize “herbal” supplements are nevertheless potent drugs. Indulging in “too much of a good thing” is not good for you or your liver — and this is particularly so if you are doing this without the benefit of medical supervision.
Be well, be smart!
Chaya
