Alert Number 41
Date: September 14, 2024
In recent months there has been much attention given to ZAP-70 and IgVH gene mutation status as prognostic indicators. We agree that these two prognostic indicators are worth understanding. These two indicators, in combination with FISH analysis to pinpoint the chromosomal aberration that is at the root of the CLL, go a long way toward defining the risk category of a given patient. In an article on Topics, ZAP-70 and IgVH Gene Mutation, we review the current research on the prognostic value of these two important tests.
Be well,
Chaya
